Formby

Founded in 1884 and is a magnificent golf club, with plenty of history, charm and elegance. On the shoreline of the Irish Sea, the popular golf course is located within the sandhills and pine woods of Formby. The natural terrain provides a memorable challenge to the golfer.

Formby Ladies

Formby Ladies Golf Club was founded in 1896, with par three holes are some of the most picturesque and difficult you could wish to play, this course is an enticing physical and mental challenge. A beautiful club that shows courses do not have to be 7,000 plus yards to be formidable!

Hesketh

The town’s oldest golf club, founded in 1885, the course sets a unique challenge with half of the holes threaded through tall sand dunes; whilst the other holes border the Ribble estuary. Known for its beauty, the mountains of Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire provide an unforgettable backdrop to your game.

Hillside

From the white tees, the Southport golf course at Hillside measures just over 7,000 yards and meanders through majestic Sandhills and tranquil pinewoods. With fantastic views over the Irish Sea, the course is said to have the best back nine holes in Britain.

Royal Birkdale

Situated on the golden links of the North West coast in Southport, Royal Birkdale is possibly the finest of all courses in England having held more Championship and International events since World War 2 than any other course in the world. Royal Birkdale Golf Club has been voted the number one golf club in England, one of the top five clubs in the UK and amongst the top 35 in the world.

Royal Liverpool

The Hoylake links can be, by turns, beautiful, uplifting, awe inspiring and, on occasion, soul-destroying! They were created to be a demanding test of golf and remain so, lying at the very heart of the history and development of golf in Great Britain.

Royal Lytham & St Annes

One of the premier links courses in the world, host of ten Open Championships, two Ryder Cups and numerous other major tournaments, including the Women’s and Senior’s Open Championships, Royal Lytham & St Annes is a course with an ideal combination of width of fairways, length of rough and pace and quality of greens.

West Lancashire

As is the case with many long established golf clubs, West Lancashire owes its origins to Scottish influence. In 1885, the club was one of the twenty-four clubs which contributed to the cost of the Amateur Championship Trophy, played by golfing professionals visiting the North West to this day, and still bearing the names of those pioneering clubs.
